This loose leaf Shou pu erh is from the late 1980's. In the 1980's tea was so cheap, it wasn't economically viable to use pesticides on them. That makes aged tea a great option if you want to have clean tea without any dangerous chemicals.
It has a nice aged taste to it. It is a blend of various grades and areas.

As with every Shou pu erh, it is nice to put a little more leaf in your pot than you would for other tea's. Because of the rarity and price of this tea, it is probably better to brew gong fu as sidehandle would require to use more leaves.
