Silent Hymn is a wonderful liu bao black tea from 2011, with a deep, centering energy. This tea has you look inwards, showing you that it's not only OK to be you, but that it's also enough. You're enough. As a liu bao it's perfect for those Summer days on which you're craving the silence of Winter. Or for drinking during the last warm days of Autumn.

Fun fact: we drank and tested a lot of liu bao teas for the shop in the Summer of 2022. Silent Hymn was the grand (and only!) winner of this test. We're very happy that we're now able to offer one more liu bao for you to drink and enjoy.

Silent Hymn was stored in a humid and hot climate, which has given it an earthy feel with a sweet aftertaste. The liquid is a deep dark brown, true to it's black tea nature.

Brewing tips:

Use a little bit more leaf for an even thicker and darker brew.

Gedronken tijdens theeceremonie

Hele mooie zachte en toch indrukwekkende thee die tijdens de ceremonie voor mij vooral positieve ervaringen opleverde.

Loslaten en gronden

Gedronken tijdens een thee ceremonie. Deze thee zorgde ervoor dat ik al mijn zorgen van de dag achter me kon laten en gewoon kon zijn. De thee hielp om ruimte te maken voor mooie, diepe inzichten.

Was heerlijk tijdens een gong fu thee ceremonie, hart openend, verbindend, verdiepend effect. Rijke thee, many steepings.
