Grown from 30 to 40-year-old plantation trees on the slopes of Big Snow Mountain in Menku, this tea carries the strength of its high-altitude origin—1,800 meters above sea level—and the quiet endurance of mature roots. A golden-tipped tea with malty depth and energizing sweetness, it shines in the morning bowl or during a still sidehandle session. It's often too bold for evening steepings but makes for a perfect start to the day. We love it solo, or blended with our cha tou shou Pu erh for a deeper, grounding experience. An affordable way to bring strong, bright tea into your daily rhythm.
Brewing tips:This tea has a generous amount of golden tips—those lighter, yellowish leaves you’ll see in the dry leaf. They release flavor quickly, so consider using a slightly smaller amount than usual. Excellent in a bowl or brewed gently in sidehandle or gong fu style. Start with lower leaf ratios and short infusions to balance the strength.
